Cousin sleepover, last day of school, more awards, and Flips for lunch

Last night was perfect, everyone of the kids got in our bed to watch a movie and they all fell asleep...........YEA RIGHT....they stayed like this for about 5 minutes but it was nice for the 5 minutes:) Klayton's last day of 2nd grade.....I can't believe I have a 3rd grader!!

Karson and I went to Klayton's school this morning for yet MORE AWARDS!! This is Klayton's teacher giving Karson a cookie and a juice box. I love Mrs. Zilligen, I'm glad she is moving to 3rd grade, Klayton will have her for 2 classes next year.

As if Klayton hadn't already gotten enough awards for me to be the happiest mommy in the world forever, he received 4 more during his classroom awards ceremony. The Speedy Worker Award, The Excellent Attention Award, The Most Helpful Student Award, & The Homework Award for always completing his homework on time. I'm so proud of him.

After Klayton, Karson, and I got home from his school Shelly and I took all the kids to Flips to eat lunch. They loved it. Here is a picture of all the kids as we were leaving with the big Polar Bear that is in the entrance of the restaurant.

The guys made it to New Mexico and are hiking as we speak. I'm sure they are having a blast. I'm so glad it's SUMMER TIME!!

Klayton's Birthday Party

It was PERFECT! Their were 19 of us! Me, Ben, Karlea, Karson, Klayton, Shel, Josh, Jackson, Jacob, Jameson, Rachel, Richie, Alexis, Grammy, Grampy, Nan-Nan, David (Klayton's daddy), Billie, and Chandler! I think he thought it was perfect too! We all had a blast. We went to Klayton's favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse. This morning, Klayton took cupcakes to school to celebrate his birthday there with his classmates. Here are a few pics. Thanks to everyone that came and helped! Klayton and Lexi!

Ben's 2nd Heaven!

First of all Ben was in Heaven the whole time we were gone! My Aunt Terry Sue and Keith live in the country as Klayton says and you can see deer all the time plus a few other animals....Ben probably spends more time outside when we are there than he does inside! My Uncle Keith took him to shoot his new gun and took him to the deer lease and Ben LOVED it, thanks Uncle Keith! On our way home we stopped at my cousin's place. They live on this Ranch (http://www.warren-ranch.com/) they have a BEAUTIFUL house! This ranch is amazing, you have to check it out! It's like a resort type place, you can stay there and do all kinds of stuff! Ben didn't want to leave! It was really nice! My cousin Charles took Ben to shoot, Ben hasn't quit talking about it since we left! We have to go back! TEXAS TECH!

So the game didn't exactly go as we expected but it's not because we didn't have enough fans in our house cheering them on!! The loss wouldn't have been near as bad if the score would have been closer! I still don't have a doubt we could beat them but we definitely have to come out a little sharper than we did Saturday! And I don't think we should be 7 in the BCS poll either! I HOPE and I know it's going to take a lot of hoping for ok state to beat ou next weekend. But you never know!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Ok, so we had a pretty good night! Here are all the kids right before the men took them trick-or-treating. Shel, myself, my mom, and Jameson stayed and passed out candy at the house. As you can see in this picture, Karlea wouldn't wear the boots (shoe cover) or hold both pom poms and Karson, wouldn't wear the helmet, the shoulder pads or the under the eye stuff!! But I think all in all they had a pretty good time! Shelly's boys were clone troopers! Klayton couldn't wear his mask if the twins could see him, not that I knew what he was anyways!

Pumpkins and Cousins

These are the fabulous pumpkins that my kiddos carved at Grampy and Grammy's on Sunday with help from daddy and Grampy! Klayton actually designed all of his on his own, Grampy just cut it out for him! Ben helped designed the twins, Karson's is on the left and Karlea's is on the right, he had to just make due with Karlea's because the first face he designed Karlea said was too scarey and she wouldn't look at it and said she didn't want it so he had to redesign hers and daddy says its after Plankton on Spongebob with the one eye and all....I guess.....Karlea was happy with it so it will work!
