Ben and the "REAL" Captain!!

Today was crazy. My mom was up with Karlea all night because she was running fever and crying about her ears hurting. Karlea would not come to me so my mom dealt with her all night. This morning I decided I better take her to the doctor because she is obviously worse than Karson was because she was not starting to feel better like he did. We went to the doctor and she had double ear infections and her glands were VERY SWOLLEN so we got meds. We met Shel and her boys at McDonald's for lunch and as we are sitting there my cell phone rings and it's Klayton's school saying that he is coughing really bad and can't stop and just doesn't feel good so I needed to go pick him up. Well I was at least 40 minutes away so I called Grammy and she was able to swing by and pick him up for me and dropped him off at the house! However, their doesn't seem to be anything wrong with him. I told him he should have stayed at school because he wasn't acting like there was one thing wrong with him. And he said yes there is, I threw up at school because the pizza we had at lunch was cold!! Well (a) they never said he threw up and (b) even if he did it wasn't because he was sick it was because he didn't like the food! Anyways, he is out of school tomorrow for a teacher in service day so I'm sure he will be fine! We are finally home! Karlea took about 1 1/2 nap and she seems to be feeling a little better. I'm sure after the meds get into her system she will be just fine!! Oh....for the title of this post....I have been trying to find this picture for a while because I wanted to post it and I found it today so here ya go.....

One feeling better and one just starting to feel bad!!

This would be the one starting to feel better from the nasty COLD!! And this is the one that is just starting to feel bad!! Poor little Princess!!

This weather is ridiculous and the reason everyone is sick. It's 75 one day and ice everywhere and 20 something the next! I guess I am ready for summer since we obviously are not going to have a real winter!!

I wanted a picture of the twins so bad but Karson doesn't feel good and I knew was not going to cooperate and I was right. He has a bad cold and now we think he may have an ear infection. We are going to take him to the doctor on Monday! Daddy, sick boy, and the princess!

Right when you see the next picture you are going to think you are looking at a rats nest. BUT it really isn't a rats nest at all it's only a picture of the back of Pretty Princess's hair! Yes, that is her hair and what it looks like every morning when she wakes up! Poor baby, I'm hoping she is going to be like my cousin, Gidget. She had NO hair at all until she was like 2 or 3 and then she got the thickest, prettiest, longest hair you have ever seen! Not sure Karlea is going to get all the way there but I would be satisfied to just get to manageable.

Klayton won his basketball game again today by the way. They are 3-1 so far!!

I hate this weather!

It either needs to be cold and stay cold (this is my preference) or be warm and stay warm. This being cold in the morning and then getting hot by the afternoon is no good. I can't get my kids feeling good for a long period of time with weather like this. The twins just got off their antibiotic this past Saturday and they are starting to sound just like they did before they got sick in the first place!! It's November, it should be cold!!

Klayton didn't go to school today because he wasn't feeling good so I decided I better take him to the doctor because he was talking like his throat was hurting really bad so me and the twins took him the doctor. Here is Karlea in her cute little ballet outfit with her new precious sparkly shoes and here is Karson with his new little polo shoes I love! By the way Klayton had strep- throat and sinusitis. The doc sent him home with an antibiotic and nasonex. He can't go back to school until Wednesday!
