Klayton's Christmas Program!

I just went to Klayton Christmas Program because last year the twins were beatings because they do a PTA meeting before the Program and it's just boring so daddy stayed at home with the twins and Klayton and I went! He had a drum solo again this year!

Yes, this time it was Karson that said something that made me laugh! I was changing yet another diaper of his and I told him "If you don't start going on the potty, mommy is shippin you off to potty school and you won't get to see us for a while", immediately back he responds, "Quit playin mommy Symonds", I said, "I'm not playing", to which he takes a deep breath and real nonchalantly says, "Daddy would come get me"! And the truth is Daddy probably would go get him! Little toot, he's going to think quit playin when mommy Symonds really does ship him off! I thought that was pretty cute and thought I would share! I'm so tired of rainy, dreary, yucky weather. I think it has rained here for the past week and I am ready to see the sun again! Excited for this weekend..Nan-Nan is taking Princess Karlea girl to get fairy princess pictures taken and Karson is going to for some pics, Klayton has a football game on Saturday morning, Nan-Nan is going to watch all the kiddos for us Saturday night so Shel, Josh, Ben, and I can go out for the Tech vs. Texas game, and then for the grand finale.... SHELLY AND I ARE GOING TO THE COWBOY/GIANT GAME SUNDAY NIGHT:)

me: Karson if you throw that puppy at Karlea one more time I'm going to spank you
karson: NO (as he throws the puppy at karlea one more time)
me: I told you (as I get up to spank him)
me: I'm going to throw you out in this rain if you don't be good
karlea: MOM...if you beat Karson you will be in trouble
me: Karlea mind your own business
karlea: don't throw my brudder in the rain, he's happy

If he saw this pic and realized he actually let his sister lay on him like this. It didn't last long but I'm glad daddy caught this on camera. This will be one of those pics we have to keep and show them when they get older. A little outside fun!

Friday and Saturday!

Before we left to run errands ALL day on Friday!! Ben didn't feel good on Friday at all and you know this because it's the first time EVER he has ever called into work because he was sick!! We decided that after Klayton got out of school we would go get Shel's boys and take the twins for their first movie at the movie theater. We went and saw Monsters vs. Aliens. All the kids LOVED it and the twins did so good!! This is me and the twins before we left for church Saturday evening! After church we went and had dinner at Cheddars! Klayton was with Shel and her family, the one place he ALWAYS wants to be! Thanks Shel and Josh! We had a great weekend! I love it when it's just "us" sometimes! I love you, Ben! Thanks for making every day a great day for me!! I look forward to many MORE great days and great weekends with you and our family!!

Klayton's first baseball game of the season!

The Cardinals did so good and Klayton looked so good!! He started the game on 2nd base and the second play a ball was thrown really hard to him and he caught it and got the runner coming from 1rst out!! It was great! Then he was the first one to bat when the Cardinals were up to bat and he hit a line drive over 2nd base and got a double! He eventually scored. He played so good, the whole team looks really good! I think Klayton is one of the only new players on the team this year so I was hoping he would do really good and HE DID!! Karson and Karlea were right there cheering on there big brother well, I mean when they weren't playing in the sand...so much for the bath they took right before we went! Oh well, they had fun most of the night and Klayton was GREAT!!

You would know Karlea had friends instantly! IF she doesn't quit being so prissy she won't have them for long. Before the night was over she was yelling from the sand over to where all the parents were telling one of the little girls mothers that her little girl needed to share and that she was not being nice and that she was going to tell her mother and then pointing at me.....OOHHHH is this pay back or what!!??

This was right before we left the house. The twins shirts are way too big but it was the smallest size they had, I think I got them where they don't look too bad!! I should have just made them shirts like I did in football but oh well, maybe I will make me one!! Anyways, I just wanted to tell everyone how great my oldest son did in his football game, even after coming home from school not feeling good!! He is an athlete.....naturally of course he takes after his mother:) Good night!

Wednesday!

So the weather went from 81 on Tuesday to cold rain and a high of like 38-40 Wednesday. ARE YOU SERIOUS, that's just ridiculous! We were stuck in the house all day but that was ok because I had alot to do seeing that we are going out of town for 4 days on Friday. The big boys and the guys are going camping at a place near Coleman Texas where they live that is just unbelievable. http://www.warrenranch.net/ You have to check it out! Thanks so much to Charles and Kayla for letting them be able to bring the boys, they are all so excited!! I think the BIG boys (Ben and Josh) are even more excited than the little boys! Shel and I are taking the twinkies and Jameson to my Aunt Terry Sue's in San Angelo Texas for a short little vacation. The twins love her house, they live out in the country and have alot of land. They have a basketball court the twins just love to run around on and play with the balls, they pretty much would stay outside from the time they get there until we leave. Not sure how that's going to work this time because daddy will not be with us and he is always the one that takes them out there and watches them....I mean I can't miss an important card game and it's the only time we play cards!! Anyways here are 2 pics of the kids on Wednesday. Klayton crawled up behind them at the last minute.

leaving for dinner! I thought Karlea looked like she was athletic in this little wind suit and her hair in a high pony tail (reminded me of me when I was younger)! "LOOKED" athletic is about as far as the athletic things goes right now, but she has several years to kick it in gear!!

We beat the guys in game night......

ALMOST anyways! Shel and I are determined to beat them so we absolutely won't play on their teams. We always play with each other and against them and have yet to beat them but we are close I can feel it! Anyways, we had another fun night of games. Here are a few pics of our night!!

Karson was the only one up when Klayton left for school so I got to get this picture of my 2 favorite boys!! Not sure what happened to the color in this picture but I think Karlea looks ALOT like my sister in this one! With the nose and her round face!

Bloody nose, princess and the pea, and how I miss my Jameson!!

To explain this better, Karson fell down the last two stairs yesterday and pretty much all that he got was a rug burn on his nose. Well today he was jumping on the trampoline with all the other kids and he fell and busted, all we saw when we looked out was BLOOD so I freaked out a little!! When they came in this was the picture I got, it made him more mad because I took the picture but the only reason there was so much blood was because he knocked off the scab of the previous accident. POOR BABY!! And the rest of the pictures will be off Miss Princess Karlea and the Pea, other wise known as Jameson!!

I already miss him and they haven't been gone an hour! Good thing, Shel and Jameson are spending the weekend with us since Josh and the other two are going snow skiing!!
