Wednesday FUN!

Before our day started. I took this before we took Klayton to school this morning. Today was college day at Klayton's school and in lieu of Tech and their BIG game this weekend he naturally wore his Tech t-shirt and threw up his guns! GO TEXAS TECH!

The twins and I went shopping all day long and lunch with my best friend Jess and her mom. We went to Parks mall. This is Karlea and I on the carousel, she liked it as long as I was holding on to her.

A few of "HIS" (karson) favorite things!

And now we have Mr.Karson. He is just as easy as Karlea! Any and all types of cars. He loves playing, rolling, and throwing any kind of car. The other day we were at the store and they wanted a toy so I thought I would let them each get a cheap little toy, he picked out something but right before we left he saw this old school model type Cadillac that all the doors opened as well as the truck and hood. It was in the men's section because it was like a model car. Well he had to have that one and nothing else. So I ended up having to get it...its heavy as crap. He carries it around like Karlea carries her baby around. Here comes Karlea with her baby doll tucked up underneath one of her arms and right behind her is Karson with his car tucked under neath one of his arms as he is making grunting sounds because he thinks its heavy. Its so funny!!

The next toy he loves right now is guns! It doesn't matter what kind, he will even make believe another one of his toys is a gun!

And last but not least with Karson is a football. Really any ball but again because it seems the sport in season right now is football. He is always talking about football. Whether it be Klayton's football practice or football games, or if we are watching it on t.v., he will say bootball (football) and we say yes and he says they are going to kickoff. The kickoff is for some reason his favorite part of the game!

A few of "HER" (karlea) favorite things!

So next up is Karlea girl! The twins are quite easy as I think the younger they are the easier they are and the less expensive they are! Her first and most favorite right now is Tinkerbell or to hear her say it Kinkerbell. I recently bought her the new Tinkerbell movie and she loves anything and everything about Tinkerbell. She was talking about Kinkerbell the other day and I said we will have to ask Santa for Tinkerbell and see if he will bring it to you and she quickly said "I ask Nan-Nan to bring me Tinkerbell. She's not spoiled is she?? Something else funny she said this morning and to show you how she is just a little obsessed with Kinkerbell. Karlea's hair looks terrible unless I put gel in it, round brush and blow dry it, but she hates that. Karson has way better hair than her but isn't that how it usually happens. Anyways when she wakes up in the mornings her hair is just atrocious looking. This morning I said "Karlea we have to do something with this hair, maybe we should just cut it off! Should we cut it off?" And she said "NO we should kinkerbell it as she has her hands on top of her head in her hair." WHAT!??!! How exactly do we kinkerbell it and she said started laughing!

Next up is kind of funny! Although she has never played soccer, every time you put any kind of "jersey" type shirt on her, or long socks, or her tennis shoes she gets real excited and says "I'm going to play in my soccew game", mommy I'm going to play in my soccew game...right? Right mommy, I going to play in soccew game, I have to say RIGHT for her to quit saying it and when I say right she gets the biggest smile on her face. I told Ben as excited as she gets just thinking about it and saying it think how excited she will be when she actually really gets to play. It is so funny!

Next up is this cute little puppy. It has wheels on the bottom of it so when you pull him by his leash he rolls along with you. A little girl at Klayton's football practice had it and Karlea loved it. The little girl let her play it with for a second and then she took it back. Karlea started whining and saying my puppy. I said no that's her puppy, we will have to go see Santa and ask him to bring you a puppy like that for Christmas. She said ok, let go see Santa and get my puppy and I said NO we can't go now we have to go see him when he gets here and ask him. I asked her "Are you going to sit in Santa's lap and ask him to bring you a puppy like that?" You could see her thinking about what I said and she said "NO, I sit in Nan-Nan's lap and ask her to bring me my puppy!" I hope Nan-Nan has alot of money because according to Miss Karlea Nan-Nan will get her anything she wants.

Last but not least for Karlea is Dowa (Dora). Along with Kinkerbell she also says she wants Dowa for Christmas.

I guess Karlea is all ready for Christmas and very sure of what she wants. I guess as long as Nan-Nan comes see her Christmas morning rather than Santa she will be a happy little girl!

A few of "HIS" (klayton) favorite things!

Okay so I will start with my oldest, Klayton! As his birthday and Christmas are coming up, I am faced with the dilemma of what to get an 8 year old. It seems the older they get the harder it is to know what to get for them. But the more I think about it, anything to do with the items below is a sure bet he will like them. His Sony 3 is probably his favorite "toy". He plays it all the time and I'm sure too much! But he loves it and any game he can play on it!

He likes all kinds of games for his Sony 3 but his favorite games are anything to do with fighting, guns, war, blood, killing.....The game of choice for him right now is Call of Duty 4, which we have already ordered for his birthday! These games are like $60 a piece, that's a little ridiculous but I guess if that's what he's in to!

Next up, would be his hot wheel cars! He has a case he has filled with all of his hot wheel cars. He hates when anyone else plays with them. And Karson loves to play with them. The other day I told Klayton he should give Karson a couple of his cars since he had so many and much to my surprise he said OK! A few minutes later, Klayton came to me and said ok Karson can have these cars that the wheels have broke off! WELL thanks, Klayton, I'm sure your brother would love these BROKEN cars.....Are you serious....I said I don't think Karson wants the cars that the wheels have been broke off of them. Klayton said well then you should just buy him some new ones and while you are buying him some new ones can you get me a few for the couple that Karson has lost of mine?!? Some of the stuff that boy says!

And last but certainly not least is he loves football. He likes any sport really but right now since he is playing football, I guess you could say its his favorite for the time being. So a new football would also be a great choice, which I have also purchased! So I guess he won't be as hard as I thought to buy for.

TGIF!

I'm glad it's Friday! This weekend should be a pretty relaxing weekend. Tonight Klayton has already informed me that he wants pancakes and sausage for dinner. This is his favorite meal, he doesn't care when he eats it, he wants it all the time. So I guess tonight we will have breakfast for dinner. Then we have to get in bed early because Klayton has an 8 am football game, we have to be there by 730. But after that we are good to relax at home and watch college football all day. I guess I will cheat Saturday, I want my mom to make something homemade. Sunday, we will head to Grammy and Grampy's for the day and watch NFL football all day. Grammy has been in NY all week so it will be good to see her. It's good to see Grampy too, just saying Grammy has been gone all week. Ben and Klayton are going to the gun show in Fort Worth with Josh, it's the last show until next year. I told Ben he could pick up his Christmas present from there if he really wanted to. I hate guns and don't really want one in my house, but Josh and Ben got their gun license a while ago and all Ben talks about, thinks about, looks at are guns, hunting, Cabellas......! Cowboys play Sunday night against washington...we HAVE TO WIN THIS GAME! This is what our weekend looks like, what are you doing?

ENERGY AND WRAPPING PRESENTS!!!!!

Okay......so I decided tonight I had to REALLY get in my room, lock the door and wrap some Christmas presents because my closet was starting to look like Santa's closet! But before I started I thought I needed to get some energy so I went to 7-11 to get an energy drink. Ben wanted one to and the kids wanted some kind of chocolate, and I decided I would grab my mom and my uncle some too so they wouldn't eat the kids chocolate. I didn't realize exactly what I was buying until I put everything on the counter and the guy behind me said, "Looks like someone is staying up for a couple of days!", I said huh?? Then I looked at the counter and all I saw was energy drinks and chocolate....I can see why he was thinking what he was thinking!! But really, only one red bull was mine, the rest of the stuff was for everyone else at home but how funny does this look for someone to get all at once at 6:00 p.m. at night???? Anyways....after my red bull, I was off to wrap and wrap I did! I got everything wrapped that needed to be wrapped, the only thing left unwrapped is what is from "Santa"! I was so proud of myself!!

I hate this weather!

It either needs to be cold and stay cold (this is my preference) or be warm and stay warm. This being cold in the morning and then getting hot by the afternoon is no good. I can't get my kids feeling good for a long period of time with weather like this. The twins just got off their antibiotic this past Saturday and they are starting to sound just like they did before they got sick in the first place!! It's November, it should be cold!!

RED RAIDER GREATNESS, The twins, and a special treat!

CAN YOU SAY 10 AND 0??!! I sure can and that is what Texas Tech is! I love how NOT ONE person in the football world other than TEXAS TECH fans picked them to win over oklahoma state on Saturday. And they KILLED them! If they continue to play as good as they have been, like they did against texas and oklahoma state, I KNOW without a doubt they will beat ou! Here were the twins before we left to go to Shel's and Josh's for the big game! Karlea didn't want to take a picture but I made her that's why she is having a fit in this picture. But didn't they look so cute?

This was Miss Karlea in yet another one of her "PRINCESS" get ups that she loves to wear. I really like this one because it's just one piece and if just slips right on and it's great for her just to play in.

I cheated yesterday so Nan-Nan made a chocolate ice box pie, my favorite Thanksgiving desert. So she made the twins and Klayton a special little treat with her homemade chocolate pudding on the bottom, cool whip, and then topped it off with M&M's, the twins LOVED it and their outfits showed they did. They had chocolate everywhere! But they loved it and that's all that counts!! Thanks Nan-Nan! I didn't even eat a piece of it, I was too full after we went to LOS MOS for dinner. I'm kicking myself now, I should have at least taken 1 bite, but I didn't!! Oh well, I still have Thanksgiving.

TGIF!!

It's Friday! I'm ready for the weekend. Ben is making his famous chicken fried rice tonight (YUMMY)! Klayton is going with his daddy tonight for the whole weekend so pray he doesn 't do anything stupid with him and watches him and keeps him safe!! We will probably bathe the twins tonight so they are clean and ready for the weekend. Tomorrow we will probably watch a little bit of college football at the house and then we are going to Shel and Josh's tomorrow night for the TEXAS TECH vs. oklahoma state game. We are going to make good homeade sandwiches with good black peppered turkey from the deli and all the fixings with homeade pico...sounds good! Sunday we are going to Grammy and Grampy's for a while, I have a hair appointment at 1, then we are going to go eat at LOS MOS tomorrow evening (my cheat day)! I hate when the Cowboys are on their bye weekend because we don't get to watch them, HOWEVER, I think we needed this bye badly. Hopefully we come back the next weekend like THE DALLAS COWBOYS that started the season! Everyone have a great weekend! GO RED RAIDERS!!!!

My little Twinkies!!

Klayton didn't go to school today because he wasn't feeling good so I decided I better take him to the doctor because he was talking like his throat was hurting really bad so me and the twins took him the doctor. Here is Karlea in her cute little ballet outfit with her new precious sparkly shoes and here is Karson with his new little polo shoes I love! By the way Klayton had strep- throat and sinusitis. The doc sent him home with an antibiotic and nasonex. He can't go back to school until Wednesday!

Sunday

We had a few people over for the Cowboy game Sunday! Here were the plates, napkins, cups, and forks. I thought they were so cute, I was very proud of myself! This was all the dips and chips with my new little cowboys dish!

This was peanut butter fudge that Grammy made and football brownies that the kids LOVE!

This was Karlea in her little Dallas Cowboy cheerleading outfit being so good while getting a breathing treatment!

And this was Karson's plate....he is definently his Nan-Nan's grandson! Chocolate football brownie, 2 Chocolate hershey's, a Chocolate rolo, and a Chocolate ring pop in his mouth!!

Yes I know my little get together or my cute little Dallas Cowboys plates, napkins, and cups didn't bring my Cowboys any luck...I realize that, I'm fully aware of that! All I have to say is....JUST WAIT!!

HOW ABOUT THOSE RED RAIDERS!!

Oh what a game it was! I knew from the beginning that Tech would do what most ALL other Texas Tech Fans KNEW they could do...BEAT UT!

They came out playing so great! I mean they dominated all of the 1rst half. They deserved to win that game!

Look at the numbers that Harrell put up!! GREATNESS in every aspect!

Not only can anything happen on any given day but Texas Tech is a great team this year, they didn't get lucky...they played TEXAS TECH football and WON the game and should have the RESPECT of every team in the Big 12, not to mention in College football! It will be a great ending to a perfect weekend when THE DALLAS COWBOYS BEAT the ny giants.....ok well maybe I'm still a little hyped up from the Tech game but you never know what could happen on ANY GIVEN SUNDAY....right??
